African soccer leader Patrice Motsepe has been re-elected and urges working with private financiers to help federations build national stadiums.

South African mining magnate Patrice Motsepe was re-elected unopposed as Confederation of African Football president at the organisation’s congress in Cairo on Wednesday while four-time African Footballer of the Year Samuel Eto’o won a place on the executive committee.

Following his ascent to the position four years ago, South African billionaire Patrice Motsepe was re-elected unopposed as the boss of African soccer for another term, which will see him occupy the seat until 2029.
