For many World of Warcraft (WoW) fans, Blizzard Entertainment's latest announcement was a familiar one: another classic expansion is coming to WoW. Since the release of Classic in August 2019, this alternative to modern WoW has managed to establish itself and build a stable player base.

WoW Classic continues on its journey to revisit the MMO's 20-year history by introducing Mists of Pandaria Classic servers next year, and Blizzard promises they'll be pretty dang faithful to the original.

World of Warcraft Classic players will head to the continent of Pandaria next year with the release of Mists of Pandaria Classic, Blizzard Entertainment confirmed Wednesday during its Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct livestream.

The Mists of Pandaria expansion originally launched in 2012, bringing players the then-new Pandaren race and Monk class.
