Confidence of there being lowland snow this weekend is growing, and although there doesn’t seem to be any significant accumulations on the way, there will some spots which will see a quick inch or two as colder air settles in starting Saturday.

Forecast models are showing a 50% chance of at least 1 inch of snow starting Saturday or early Sunday, the National Weather Service said in an emailed briefing Monday afternoon.
