Three people were left without a home after officials say a vegetation fire spread, causing explosions and damaging two houses in Vancouver early Friday afternoon.
At about 2:30 p.m., the fire department received a report that a 10 foot section of arborvitae near 10910 N.E. 70th Circle was on fire. Witnesses reported that flames were 30 feet high, explosions were happening, and the fire had spread to a vehicle and house while firefighters were on their way.
