A man is in the Box Elder County Jail, accused of shooting at officers in Tremonton Sunday night, killing two and injuring another and his police dog.

Authorities say a man is in custody after fatally shooting the two officers. A sheriff’s deputy and a police dog were shot and wounded in their car as they arrived to help.

The officers were responding to a domestic disturbance call late Sunday in a neighborhood in Tremonton, Utah, police said.
