Students at the Worcester university are among dozens of international scholars in Massachusetts who have had their visa status terminated.

Attorney Taylor Renfro told The Arizona Republic that her client chose to return not long after learning their visa was revoked.

The federal government has revoked the student visas of five international members of the Rice University community – three current students and two recent graduates, according to the institution. University President Reginald DesRoches confirmed the revocations in a candid letter to students,
