Leah Remini is remembering her Scientology and the Aftermath co-host Mike Rinder with an emotional tribute. Rinder died Jan. 5 at the age of 69.

Leah Remini has broken her silence around the death of Mike Rinder, a Scientology whistleblower who earned an Emmy for exposing the secret organization, and recently died. The actress called Rinder her “trusted partner” in Scientology, to whom she turned when she herself left the secretive group in 2013.

"He worked tirelessly to right the wrongs of his past and beyond," Remini said of her friend and colleague, who once served as a high-ranking Scientologist.
