As wildfires rage across Los Angeles County, Airbnb.org partners with 211 LA to provide free, temporary housing for displaced residents, offering safety and shelter during a time of crisis.

As tens of thousands seek shelter from the wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, the short-term rental site Airbnb has made free rooms available to evacuees and major hotels are extending discounted rates to displaced residents.

Airbnb will work with 211 LA to identify residents in need of temporary housing and connect them to accommodations offered through Airbnb.org, the company’s non-profit arm which provides free stays through funds from the company and hosts who offer up their homes during disaster situations.

A number of city organizations like gyms, restaurants and more are offering services for evacuees of the Los Angeles wildfires.

As multiple fires continue to spread through Los Angeles, Airbnb will offer free temporary housing for displaced residents.
