In response to reports of people trapped in a fire, Houston Fire Department crews were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 4800 block of Jarmese Street around 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, Brent Taylor, a spokesperson for the fire department said.

According to initial reports, no civilians were injured in the fire, but three firefighters sustained injuries of varying severity.
