According to the National Park Service, fireworks on the National Mall are set to begin at 9 p.m. local time on July 4. The park service provided a map of the National Mall that shows the various access points to watch the fireworks, as well as restrooms and food service, among others.

D.C., Maryland, and Virginia are packed with free firework shows this Fourth of July. Whether you’re staying local or planning a quick trip across state lines, there’s no shortage of prime spots to post up and watch the night sparkle.

CNN is bringing coast to coast fireworks shows and a lineup of award-winning artists to its Independence Day special. The six-hour broadcast, headlined by musician Noah Kahan, will have firework events showcased throughout the evening, including some from Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Nashville, Niagara Falls, New Orleans and Washington, DC.
