According to a leak from China, Apple is once again working on vegan leather. This time, it is said to be more durable than the old "fine fabric".

However, since FineWoven has proven to be startlingly poor at stain resistance or even just durability, it's more believable that it is gone for good than it is that FineWoven will get a last hoorah.

Perhaps if FineWoven didn’t cost $59, it wouldn’t be so bad. But for that price, you’d expect a case to be able to not look like garbage after just a few days.
