Dallas Wings rookie sensation Paige Bueckers broke the franchise record for most assists in a rookie season on Friday night in a game against the Los Angeles Sparks, picking up her 143rd assist midway through the first quarter.

Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings finally ended their five-game losing streak, defeating the Indiana Fever on Tuesday night by one point, 81-80. To begin the weekend, Bueckers and the Wings looked for a second-straight victory, taking on Cameron Brink and the Los Angeles Sparks.

Bueckers, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, entered Friday with 141 assists and needed just two to pass Odyssey Sims ' record of 142 set in 2014 when the franchise was known as the Tulsa Shock. It didn't take long for Bueckers to take care of business.
