US Vice-President JD Vance is meeting Conservative shadow justice secretary Robert Jenrick at the house where he is staying during his holiday in the UK. The BBC has been told Vance's team invited Jenrick to a private meeting with the vice-president in the Cotswolds on Tuesday.

Locals are tired of closed roads, vehicle searches and constant security presence, while pro-Palestinian protesters are set to hold a demonstration.

The protest came as a poster depicting a satirical image of Vance appeared on a billboard in Cheltenham. A group of around 50 protestors gathered in the Cotswolds angry at the visit of US Vice President JD Vance - telling him he was 'not welcome' there.
