Allison Howard, a longtime executive with the Cleveland Cavaliers, has been named the first president of the WNBA’s Cleveland expansion team, the franchise announced Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

Howard will lead the business operations of the Cleveland WNBA team, which is set to play its inaugural season in 2028 at Rocket Arena.

With the WNBA as big as ever, the incoming Cleveland expansion team has just named their first president in Cavaliers' CCO Allison Howard.
