A tropical system in the Caribbean Sea could develop as it moves northward into the Gulf of Mexico, the National Hurricane Center says.

The National Hurricane Center is tracking three systems Friday night, two in the Atlantic Ocean and one in the Caribbean Sea.

Hurricane forecasters continue to monitor a broad area of low pressure in the Caribbean Sea and two low-pressure systems stirring in the Atlantic Ocean, according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami. The area of low-pressure in the Caribbean has a chance of developing into a tropical system early to the middle of next week, forecasters said.
