Oasis proved it's back for real on Friday at the band's first concert in 16 years, with a powerful new lineup and a career-spanning setlist.

July 5 (UPI) -- Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited their band Oasis in Cardiff, Wales, Friday night. The Gallaghers ended their 16-year hiatus, performing songs like "Hello," "Acquiesce," "Some Might Say," "Morning Glory" and "Wonderwall," in front of 75,000 fans at the Cardiff Principality Stadium, according to TMZ.

The Independent ’s Mark Beaumont described the gig as “the rock reunion to end them all” and noted the “heartwarming closure” that came with seeing the once-feuding siblings “juxtaposed on side-by-side screen panels”.
