Shops and offices in central London have been evacuated following reports of a bomb threat as police have carried out controlled explosions. Staff and customers were seen lining the streets around busy Regent Street on Wednesday afternoon.

London ’s famous shopping district of Regent Street has been closed after an alleged bomb threat was made. Police have closed the B406 Conduit Street and Beak Street while buses – including the 12, 88, 94, 139, 159 and 453 – are all on diversion. The bomb threat is reportedly inside a stationary car near London’s famous Hamleys toy store.
