We offer small-group, guided walking tours through and beneath the streets of Pioneer Square. Step back in time, as you step down below to the 1890's level of Seattle's original downtown. We'll explain how, and why, these spaces were built, and how they have been used throughout the past 130 years. (On our adults-only night-time tour we'll also explain how they have been misused...especially during the Klondike Goldrush era when Seattle had the most notorious Red Light District on the West Coast!). Suzy, While reservations are not necessary, we do cap the size of our groups to 25 people or less. You can guarantee space on a specific tour by purchasing tickets in advance on our website. Otherwise it is first-come, first-served for walkup tickets. We do often sell out in peak season, and August is our busiest month of the year. Usually if you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to a tour's departure time we will still have tickets available. We add additional tours in the summer so if a tour is sold out, we will often have another tour departing 30 minutes later.
